Ben Kauffman

President & CEO

Leading Dutchland, Inc. as President & CEO since 2016 is Ben Kauffman, a second generation family member who brings with him the same dedication and values that launched the company over 35 years ago. Ben worked in all areas of the company before assuming the role of vice president in 2006. He grew up in Dutchland learning not only what it takes to run a business, but also how to understand the unique needs of each customer and find ways to meet those needs.

Guided by his strong belief in teamwork, open communication, and empowerment, Ben defines and articulates the organization’s vision and develops strategies to achieve it. Ben’s ability to see the big picture enables him to successfully integrate the efforts of manufacturing, construction, and sales into a single holistic view to drive Dutchland’s overall performance. His natural business acumen and strategic skills have earned him the reputation for finding a way to accomplish the impossible.

In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling with his wife and three children, as well as golf, tennis, and driving sport cars. He has dedicated time to numerous non-profit organizations over the years and is an avid history buff and computer guru. Ben is passionate about fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Lee Kauffman

COO

Lee Kauffman was born into the business of precast concrete and has been working at Dutchland since he was 14 years old. With more than two decades of experience in construction and project management, serving as the Chief Operating Officer is a natural fit. Lee is responsible for managing all the physical and capital resources of the company, as well as oversight of all mechanical construction. Lee is process-driven and results oriented and is known throughout the industry for completing jobs efficiently without cutting corners. His expertise in operating equipment and his amiable personality have earned him the reputation as the go-to guy to get things done - on time and on budget. Lee is a champion of excellence and is always willing to go the extra mile for a customer.

A seasoned outdoorsman, Lee enjoys working at home, which includes 38 acres and beef cattle. He is an active supporter of Black Rock Retreat and has volunteered on mission trips to Haiti. Lee resides in Quarryville with his wife and five children.

Josh Allen, PE

Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer, Josh Allen oversees an Engineering Department that is licensed in fifteen states, as well as a full Drafting Department. Josh focuses on ensuring that both departments function as a cohesive unit, the conceptualizing and day-to-day management of simultaneous projects, and delivering design solutions that meet each customer’s needs. Josh’s expertise encompasses the entire project lifecycle from initial planning with the Sales Department ,to design, through completion with Operations and Project Management. He thrives on driving multiple and diverse projects simultaneously. His engineering abilities are rivaled only by his ability to apply visionary thinking to technical challenges in a practical, detail-oriented manner.

A seasoned engineer, Josh joined Dutchland after working for more than a decade in various structural engineering capacities specializing in commercial and educational structures. He is a registered professional engineer and a licensed pilot.

Annmarie Hyrb

Business Development & Outside Sales Manager

As the Manager of Business Development & Outside Sales, Annmarie Hyrb is responsible for managing the sales performance of the outsides sales representatives as well as developing and implementing the strategic marketing plans for Dutchland. Annmarie focuses on identifying new business opportunities and expanding Dutchland’s brand presence. Prior to joining Dutchland in 2013, Annmarie spent more than two decades working in the utility and education sectors. She is a creative and critical thinker who works with the sales team to produce well-conceived, thoughtful business development and marketing plans to achieve corporate sales targets. Annmarie’s outgoing personality enables her to build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to accomplish their business objectives and needs.

Annmarie holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Engineering Management. In her free time, Annmarie enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband and three children.

Tim Lapp

Estimating Manager

Tim Lapp, Estimating Manager, oversees the Estimating Department that is responsible for all estimating activities as well as planning, coordinating, and directing all preconstruction efforts. Tim focuses on ensuring every estimate is accurate and complete and meets all submission requirements. Bringing with him more than six years in construction prior to estimating, Tim’s expertise also includes constructability reviews and value engineering. He earned his DBIA certification and is not only skilled in Design-Build, but also CMAR and hard-bid pursuit and delivery. Tim’s calm demeanor serves him well in the fast-paced estimating environment and he has a reputation for always maintaining composure and focus to meet any challenge. His keen attention to detail and good decision-making skills enable him to strike the perfect balance between strategy, creation, and precise execution.

Tim spends his free time with his wife and three young children. When not coaching soccer or assisting with the Boy Scout troop, Tim’s family enjoys fishing and traveling with friends.

Brad Tekely

Director of Operations

Bringing with him more than a decade of experience in project management in the construction industry, Brad Tekely joined Dutchland in 2013 as the Director of Operations. Brad is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising all construction projects from development to completion. Brad’s commitment to quality and serving client’s needs have brought him recognition among his peers, as well as his willingness to work through problems in the best interest of the project. He promotes teamwork and is very collaborative with other trades, subcontractors and engineers to ensure projects are run efficiently and on time. With a leadership style that promotes individual thinking, Brad gains respect from team members using his strong attention to detail and follow through.

Brad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Construction Management. An avid golfer, Brad enjoys outdoor activities and time shared with his wife and young son.
