Precast Laborer

Primary Position Objective

To assist in the fabrication of Dutchland, Inc. precast pieces while insure safety is at the forefront.

Department: Precast

Department Head: Plant Manager

Reports to: Precast Team Leader


  • Ensure safety is at the forefront of all work
  • Responsible for the setup, pour, finish, and clean up according to speculation and in an efficient manner
  • Responsible for making all types of rebar cages and mats
  • Must arrive on time for work and be able to work long hours in any type of weather
  • Demonstrates teamwork and responsibility while promoting a quality work ethic
  • Must abide by Dutchland, Inc. and OSHA dress code and safety regulations
  • Must purchase tools in the allotted time given at time of hire and maintain all tools
  • Must show professionalism
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of work including but not limited to lifting 50-75 lbs., being on your feet all day
  • Work with several individuals in a team atmosphere to complete tasks with the particular job.
  • Communicate with co-workers, team leader, quality control personal, supervisors, and managers
  • Abide by all safety rules and report quality and safety issues to management
  • Actively participate in monthly tool box talks and daily stretch-and-flex program
  • Ensure clean work area and maintain all equipment
  • Report any non-conformances in the product to team leader immediately
  • Mentor new employees as requested
  • Punch time card/fill out time sheet correctly
  • Perform other duties as required or requested by management


  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Guarantee confidential information

  • Basic Math Skills


  • Professional and positive communication and conduct

  • Read drawings

  • Basic computer skills
