COSTARS

Dutchland has been a leader in precast tanks for more than 40 years. Now, as a state-affiliated entity, we can offer our services more cost-effectively and efficiently.

ABOUT COSTARS

COSTARS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units (LPPUs) and state-affiliated entities (together “Members”) are able to leverage contracts established by DGS to cost-effectively and efficiently identify suppliers with whom to do business.

SERVICES

Dutchland’s multi-disciplinary design team partners with each customer to develop tailored solutions for their unique wastewater needs.

Consulting

Dutchland has a full staff of engineers and drafters to provide technical support at every phase of a project.

Engineering

Dutchland’s precast concrete tanks are marked by their structural superiority and durability, thanks to an adept engineering team that designs and manufactures them at our facility.

Preventative Maintenance

Dutchland provides a complete menu of wastewater treatment services to help customers streamline system operations, solve process problems, meet environmental compliance and rehabilitate systems.

TANKS

Dutchland is a proven leader in the design, manufacturing and construction of precast post-tensioned tanks.

For more than forty years, Dutchland has been building circular, rectangular, and pill shaped tanks.

Installation Services

Dutchland performs tank installations very quickly and efficiently.

Digester

Digester tanks, also known as an anaerobic digesters or a form of anaerobic digestion system, is a type of storage equipment that utilizes the awesome natural process of anaerobic digestion.

Clarifier

Clarifiers are settling tanks built with mechanical means for continuous removal of solids being deposited by sedimentation. A clarifier is generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening.

EQ

Flow equalization tanks are most often designed to provide storage to accommodate the variable flow into the tank and output a steady state condition that would flow into the treatment plant, which optimizes the efficiency of the treatment process.

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM EQUIPMENT

Dutchland offers clients a unique combination of engineering and process design, operations expertise and control systems implementation to allow for efficient execution of all wastewater projects.

Installation Services

Dutchland offers installation for various wastewater treatment plant processes.

Extended Aeration

An extended-aeration system includes capabilities for aeration & mixing, settling, return of activated sludge and solids removal, this last in the form of a biomass known as waste-activated sludge. An activated sludge process re-circulates part of the biomass as an integral part of the process.

Hybrid Bardenpho

The modified Bardenpho process is a biological process which provides special conditions for both nitrogen and phosphorous removal. This system consists of five distinct reactors which are respectively: anaerobic reactor, first anoxic reactor, first aerobic reactor, second anoxic reactor, and second aerobic reactor.

MLE

The Modified Ludzack-Ettinger (MLE) process has been developed for the combination removal of BOD, ammonia, and nitrate/nitrite. The process employs a combination of an anoxic and aerobic zone. … The MLE process can achieve a 6 to 8 mg/l Total Nitrogen discharge, depending upon the wastewater influent characteristics.
